Jennifer Garner Reportedly Upset About the Ben Affleck Controversy
Jennifer Garner is reportedly upset about the controversy ex-husband Ben Affleck got himself in.
On Oct. 10, Tuesday, Oscar-winning actor Ben Affleck threw his support to all the women that had fallen victim to sexual harassment at the hands of disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. Unfortunately for him, he would soon become the subject of another controversy stemming from the time he groped "One Tree Hill" actress Hilarie Burton on camera. Now, with the attention shifting towards Affleck, former wife Jennifer Garner isn't all too happy about the attention.
A source close to the actress revealed to E! News that Jennifer Garner is quite annoyed about the whole fiasco, and it concerns mostly her children with Affleck. "She tries to shield them from any and all publicity and scrutiny. She's taking her kids to school and to all of their activities. As far as they know nothing has changed and all is well. That is always her goal but she's been pretty frustrated with him," the source said.

Affleck's folly began after he tweeted his condemnation of Harvey Weinstein when another user reminded everyone how the "Justice League" actor once grabbed Hilarie Burton's breasts on her MTV show "Total Request Live" back in 2003. Burton would then reply to the user saying she hasn't forgotten about the incident, and a video of that incident circulated online. Affleck would since issue an apology to Burton confessing he was young and that he had acted inappropriately towards the actress.
However, Affleck's woes would not end there as people would then begin to share another video of a young Affleck being too touchy with Canadian TV host Anne-Marie Losique, but the latter defended the actor saying it was all fun and games for the cameras. Furthermore, SNL star John Mulaney's wife, hairstylist Annamarie Tendler, took to Twitter asking Affleck to apologize to her for grabbing her buttocks back in 2014 at a Golden Globes after party.
Affleck at the center of controversy would definitely not sit well with Garner since she wants their kids to have a normal life as much as possible. The couple first announced their separation in 2015 and filed for divorce last April.
