Jennifer Lawrence Weight Issues Continue: Actress Reveals 'Fat' Label Hurt

Jennifer Lawrence reveals the criticism she received as a young actress trying to break into Hollywood while pledging never to let critics force her into to worrying about her weight.

In the upcoming November issue of Harper's Bazaar U.K., the 23-year-old Oscar-winning actress reveals the hardships she and other young actress endure and how she overcame all of her self doubt.

Still, fans are still clamoring for tips and secrets on how Hollywood's elite stay trim and in demand.

Lawrence's weight loss secret was recently revealed by a revered fitness expert, Dalton Wong, who hinted that fluids may be the key to success.

Wong revealed to Life & Style that Lawrence drinks dandelion tea before big premieres in order to prevent any type of bloating.

"It's a brilliant diuretic that helps to prevent water retention and flush out toxins," he said.

Dalton explained that in addition to the tea, Lawrence is adamant about drinking plenty of water and enjoying lean meats such as turkey and lots of vegetables as well as protein shakes for breakfast and carrot and ginger juice.

Dalton further added that routine physical exercise is the other half of the equation to losing weight.

"We stretched out her hips and her back with yoga/Pilates moves to make her feel longer and leaner and to kick start her body. This also works on improving her posture which can go a long way on the red carpet," he said.

Even with the stress of being a Hollywood star, Lawrence revealed that she would never put her health in danger for a role, but did previously admit to facing criticism in Hollywood over her curvier figure.

"I'm never going to starve myself for a part," divulged the star speaking to Elle magazine last year. "I don't want little girls to be like, 'Oh, I want to look like Katniss, so I'm going to skip dinner. That's something I was really conscious of during training, when you're trying to get your body to look exactly right."
