Jill and Jessa Are Back to Reality TV with Their New Show, 'Counting On'

The Duggars are finally back on TV, with Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald starring in their own TV special, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," on TLC.

The Duggar Family lost their TV series "19 Kids and Counting" after the network canceled their show, when the news about Josh Duggar's scandal broke out. Josh has been accused of cheating on his wife, Anna, especially when his Ashley Madison account was revealed, and the eldest Duggar admitted to being addicted to pornography. Months before the cheating was revealed, Josh also admitted to molesting his sisters when he was still a teenager, including Jill and Jessa.

The whole family was hurt by the scandal, and in a promo clip released by TLC, the two sisters shared how much the family had suffered in the past few months. According to Entertainment Tonight, the Duggar sisters did not address Josh's issue directly, but Jessa admitted that they were "shocked." "We were devastated. We couldn't believe it. You have to wonder, 'How did this happen?'"

Jill added that she cried a lot when it happened, and is still hurting. "You're angry and hurt and all those emotions all mixed together," she emotionally said.

Fortunately, the sisters are now ready to move on, and are both excited to share their experiences in "Counting On." The TV special will document Jessa's pregnancy with her first child with Ben Seewald. According to E! Online, the special will also show Jill and her husband's, Derick Dillard, missionary work in Central America.

"Even with all the difficulties that my family has walked through, there's still a lot of exciting milestones ahead," Jessa added. On the other hand, Jill promises that their family will only be stronger after the scandal.

Jill and Jessa's new show, "Counting On," will premiere this December on TLC.
