'Just Because!' Episode 6 Spoilers: Mio to Finally Confess to Haruto?
The third semester has finally begun, and Eita Izumi and company find themselves dealing with more than just schoolwork on the Japanese slice-of-life anime series, "Just Because!" Will the complicated web of unrequited affections be resolved in time for graduation?
Eita has just moved back to town after leaving during middle school due to his father's work. But what was supposed to have been just a few months spent in his final year in high school has just turned into quite a challenge when he reunited with a couple of old friends from his past.
At the moment, his best friend, Haruto Soma, has just been rejected by the girl he likes, Hazuki Morikawa, but he remains unaware that Mio Natsume has been harboring feelings for him since their middle school days.
On the other hand, Eita has always liked Mio, who may or may not already be aware of it after an argument that they previously had.
But now that both girls have decided to talk to Haruto about their individual issues with the guy, how is this going to affect the way they interact with each other?
Hazuki, for her part, has her reasons for rejecting Haruto's love confession, and they do not involve disliking the guy. It's the first time she's ever been confessed to by a guy whom she has only recently begun conversing with. Besides, she is also planning on leaving the town right after graduation.
Also, between this and having to take care of her younger siblings, she doesn't feel like she has time left to spend on romance.
However, will she really be able to keep her distance from Haruto? Or will their upcoming conversation lead them to a kind of compromise? Then again, will a proper explanation for the previous rejection give Haruto hope or will it completely push him away?
How will he also deal with Mio's upcoming confession, and what role will Eita play after all of this is said and done?
