Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez News: Justin Wants to Get Back Together?

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are still broken up for now, but new reports claim that the "Girlfriend" singer is sending Gomez text messages and is begging her to reconcile.

A source from Us Weekly said, "Justin can throw her into a tailspin with just one text." The insider claims that at first, Bieber will just send Gomez random "just thinking of you" texts. The texts then quickly escalate into "give me another chance" texts in no time.

The source goes on to say that Gomez will often ignore his texts but then, when he goes silent, she gets very bothered. Meanwhile, a source from Hollywood Life says that Gomez is trying to put the past behind her and is determined to ignore Bieber's calls.

"She is working on new music but songs about Justin are not in the plan," said the source to the website. "Her new album is going to be a completely new sound and a new vibe."

Meanwhile, Gomez has taken to social media to thank her fans for their support throughout the year. 2014 has been particularly difficult for the singer as she went to rehab earlier this year and publicly went through another breakup with Bieber.

Gomez took to Twitter at 4 a.m. on Dec. 25 and wrote, "Guys, this year, hasn't even been the same but YOU made it incredible. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE! Please tell me y'all are eating as much as me."

It was earlier reported that Gomez headed home to Texas to spend the holidays with her family, while Bieber is currently in his hometown in Canada to spend a quiet Christmas with his friends and loved ones.
