Justin Bieber Denies Using Wheelchair to Avoid Long Disneyland Lines; Was Nursing 'Knee Injury' (PHOTO)

Justin Bieber has denied reports claiming he used a wheelchair to cut lines at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California on Sunday.

The "Confident" singer, 20, was photographed sitting in a wheelchair device while posing for photos with fans at the world famous theme park over the weekend. Despite critics speculating that Bieber may have used the wheelchair to avoid long queues, a rep for the singer insists that he sat in it briefly to nurse a knee injury, according to TMZ.com.

"This is turning into a potential scandal, but no one knows what's happening," E! News' Ken Baker said Tuesday on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest."

"Bieber, over the weekend, went to Disneyland with some friends and family. And he went on a bunch of rides, but it just so happens that while he was he was also in a wheelchair the whole time," he explained.

In one fan picture the pop star is seen comfortably seated in the wheelchair, which is a device often used for people with disabilities or injuries.

He is sporting red sweatpants, a wife beater, black jacket and matching black hat and the female fan drapes her arm around the singer's shoulders.

"He was in a good mood, he was taking pictures with his fans … But people, what I'm told, people we're getting annoyed because they felt like he was using the wheelchair … in order to get to the front of the line on the rides at Disneyland," Baker said.

Bieber's rep claims the singer was justified in briefly using a wheelchair because of a knee injury reportedly sustained while playing basketball.

The rep also explained that the singer does not need a wheelchair device to avoid long queues because he is always escorted to and from rides by staff to prevent a crowd of fans from forming.
