'Juuni Taisen' Anime Spoilers: Ram's Backstory to Be Featured in Next Episode?

A battle between two pairs of zodiac warriors is about to break out. Is Rabbit about to be subdued once and for all, or will he, instead, gain two new puppets on the Japanese action anime series, "Juuni Taisen"?

As the previous episode has revealed, Monkey used to be a negotiator who has managed to end more than 300 international conflicts as well as 200 civil wars by merely using the power of words. She has a naturally persuasive personality, but despite her efforts, various crimes against humanity still continued until they were all burned deep into her brain.

However, she continues to hope for a peaceful way to settle every battle, especially the one she found herself in at the end of the previous episode. Rabbit has found them and is now about to take them down with help from his very first puppet, the now headless Snake.

The late Nezumi has previously told them how she thought Rabbit was the most dangerous participant in the ongoing Twelfth Zodiac War due to his psychopathic personality coupled with his necromancy skills.

Monkey still hopes to settle things in a peaceful way. But could this strong sense of peace eventually lead to her and Rat's downfall? Or will her yet-to-be-revealed backup plan to win the War come in handy sooner than she would've expected?

The preview for the next episode also teases the re-appearance of Ram, the short, horned, old man whose expertise lies on heavy explosives. What could he be doing at this time? Will his appearance affect the Monkey–Rat vs Rabbit–Snake battle in any way, or will be he dealing with this own kind of battle?

"Juuni Taisen: Zodiac War" airs on Tuesdays at 11:30 p.m. JST on AT-X and late night at 2:30 a.m. JST on MBS.
