'Juuni Taisen' Anime Spoilers: The Truth About the Zodiac War
It may have at first seem that the ongoing 12th Zodiac War is nothing more than just a violent event participated in by 12 powerful warriors with no qualms about killing each other for the sake of winning the game. However, as it turned out, things are really not as they seem on the Japanese action anime series, "Juuni Taisen."
As the previous episode revealed, the ongoing Juuni Taisen, or Zodiac War, is actually a fair and peaceful territorial struggle among the countries represented by the honored guests watching the war from a viewing center. Instead of engaging in a full-blown war, these representatives will instead be betting their countries' fate on a high-minded gamble for control of the world.
There were originally 12 participants in the Juuni Taisen, but some of them have already met their end. And since betting can only begin when the number of participants has dwindled down to six, the representatives only have to wait for three more warriors to fall before the real high stakes game begins.
The previous episode also revealed Ram's backstory and how he won the ninth Juuni Taisen with his strategic thinking and his trusty explosives. Apparently, this is also how he intends to win the current war, especially since he is no longer as strong as he was before.
Could he be the person who eventually delivers the major shakeup that the representatives are hoping for? After all, the old man does have his most powerful grenade, Old Timer, on him, and he has apparently not swallowed his poisoned gem.
However, it also seems that Ox is also hot on his trails, and it will only be a matter of time before a confrontation finally begins between them.
Can a strategic old man with a handful of explosives be hailed as the ultimate victor of the Zodiac War for the second time? Or will this particular War be his final resting place instead?
More importantly, what new truths will the upcoming episodes reveal about the war and its participants?
