Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran News: Tran Flaunts Rings on Social Media, Rumored to Be Engaged
Chris Brown is rumored to be back together with on-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran after the model sparked engagement rumors when she took to Instagram on Thursday, Dec. 25.
The 26-year old shared a photo that shows her hand, adorned with two massive rings. The picture was captioned with a heart.
Though both rings were on her right hand, both pieces of jewelry look like engagement rings. The one on her ring finger is a cushion cut diamond surrounded by smaller stones, and the ring on her pointer finger is a much bigger, oval cut diamond with yellow tones.

The post has been taken down from Tran's Instagram account since then. But a friend of the model told Hollywood Life that the rings were indeed from Brown, but were not engagement rings like everyone initially thought. The source said that the rings were Brown's way of asking for forgiveness for the way he has mistreated her.
"He doesn't know much about diamonds or rings but he liked both of them and couldn't decide which one to get her so he got her two," said the source. "He gave them to her on Christmas Eve along with a kiss on the lips and said, 'Kae, I'm so sorry for mistreating you. I promise I won't do it again. Always remember how much I love you. Love keeps no record of wrong. Remember.'"
Tran was reportedly caught off guard by the gesture and had to fight back tears.
"Karrueche was speechless. She couldn't breathe for a minute and she was fanning her face to keep from crying so her makeup wouldn't run down her face."
Tran and Brown were last seen and photographed together on Wednesday, Dec. 24 leaving the Playhouse Club in Los Angeles.
