Kate Hudson C-Section Comments Spark Anger From Moms

Kate Hudson unknowingly provoked mothers when she dropped a comment about having a caesarean section, in which she implies that the act is "lazy."

In the October issue of Cosmopolitan, Hudson appears on the cover of the magazine. She was also given a series of questions which she had to fill out for her feature. When asked about the laziest thing that she has ever done, she answered with "have a C-section!"

Unfortunately, her response was not taken lightly by her fans and they took to various social media platforms to slam the actress for her insensitive statement.

The mother-of-two was referring to the C-section she had when she gave birth to her son, Ryder. In previous interviews about his birth, she said that she chose to do a C-section because she was tired from the trip to the hospital since she was being stalked by paparazzi.

One Instagram user wrote that she was disappointed that Hudson user her platform to announce that her C-section was lazy. She said, "I'm sad for you on your viewpoint on this issue and hopefully you can see how insensitive that was."

Although Hudson received negative feedback on her statement, some fans also came to her defense, saying that what she wrote was her own personal experience with C-section and that she never meant for it to be a remark about the procedure in general.

One netizen who came to her defense who claims to have had three C-sections in the last four years said that she found the comment funny. She wrote, "Sounds exactly like something I would have said as a joke. It's the society we live in today, everyone is so hyper sensitive, always finding something wine & compline about."

Hudson has not addressed the latest controversy.
