Kate Upton Shares First Wedding Photo With Husband Justin Verlander

Since model Kate Upton married her long-time beau Justin Verlander last Sunday, the two have kept snaps from their wedding mostly in private. On Nov. 7, however, the 25-year-old model shared for the first time a portrait of her and her husband on their big day.

Upton and Houston Astros pitcher Verlander tied the knot on Nov. 4 at Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Italy. News about their wedding came as a surprise for their fans, as the two had really intended to make their union as private and as quiet as possible. Their wedding happened just a few days after Verlander's team won the World Series.

In a snap shared by Upton earlier this week, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model is shown wearing a Valentino gown and all-smiles while walking down the aisle with her World Series-winning groom. The two are surrounded by their family and close friends as they walk the red carpet while being showered with white rose petals.

"I feel so lucky that I got to marry my best friend!!! @justinverlander Thank you to our family and friends for making this weekend so fun and magical!" Upton captioned the photo, which seems to have been taken moments after their end of their wedding ceremony.

Verlander also commented on the photo, saying, "Happy wife happy life! What an amazing beginning to our journey together! @kateupton #justmarried"

Since posting time, the photo has received at least more than a hundred thousand likes. In fact, within the 40 minutes of Upton posting it, it had been liked 97,000 times. It has also received hundreds of congratulatory comments and well-wishes from their delighted fans.

Upton and Verlander were first introduced to each other in 2012 and began dating two years later. After two years of being in a relationship, the two got engaged in 2016.
