Kathy Griffin and Lisa Bloom Feud News: Comedienne Slams Harvey Weinstein Lawyer Who 'Exacerbated' Her Troubles

Comedienne Kathy Griffin and feminist lawyer Lisa Bloom are feuding in public. Not one of them is backing down, however, as they each share what really happened over that controversial fake photo of a beheaded President Donald Trump.

Griffin hired Bloom in June to represent her after she posted the fake photo that landed her in trouble with the Secret Service. It turned out that the comedienne was not happy with the way Bloom handled her public relations (PR) and now she's letting the world know in light of Bloom stepping down as Harvey Weinstein's representative.

Griffin talked to The Daily Beast to detail her experience with Bloom. She claimed that the lawyer is a "fame-whore" who, aside from charging high fees, badgered her and messed up her press conferences.

"I'm not acting like some innocent—I've been around," Griffin said. "But I've never been through anything like this."

Short of warning other people not to hire Bloom anymore, Griffin claimed she lost work because of her PR team's failures. She did not like Bloom's recommendations on how they should go about with her controversy in the media.

She felt the lawyer did not have her back at all despite Bloom's reputation as a champion of women. Griffin also posted a video on Facebook to talk about Bloom.

"I got Bloomed," Griffin said in the video. "I did not have a good experience with her. I felt that she and her husband exacerbated my personal situation."

Griffin also revealed Bloom has been calling her about an unpaid $40,000 fee but the comedienne will not budge. In response, Bloom posted her statement on Twitter last Monday saying she had no idea Griffin has a problem with her until a reporter told her about it days ago.

Bloom also said she got rape and death threats after she took on Griffin's case and it's still keeping her on her toes even as the controversy died down. According to the Los Angeles Times, the Weinstein sexual harassment case dented Bloom's career and now she has to deal with Griffin further tarnishing her reputation.
