Khloe Kardashian News: Reality Star Reveals First Date with Tristan Thompson Is 'Ambushed'
Khloe Kardashian has revealed that she was set up to a blind date with her current beau Tristan Thompson and that their first date was eventually sort of ambushed.
At last night's "Keeping Up With the Kardashians Ten Year Anniversary Special," Kardashian narrated how she and her current beau ended up together.
"I mean, I don't know what that is but I was put on a blind date with Tristan. That's how I met Tristan," said Kardashian as she answered Ryan Seacrest's question that pointed out that it seems basketball players are her dating standard.
"Brandon Jennings, who is a basketball player, he is a friend of mine and Malika (Haqq)'s, and he was like, 'You're such a good girl, I want to introduce you to someone," revealed Kardashian.
The reality star went to reveal that she eventually agreed to go out on a date with Jenning's friend, Thompson. However, as she didn't want to go on a blind date, it was not only Jennings who kept them company on what should have been a twosome event.
"I was at the Bel-Air Hotel. He came to the dinner. I didn't want to go on a blind date. So Brandon kind of ambushed the blind date. So I had a bunch of people, and he brought him and we just connected," Kardashian said.
Apparently, despite the supposed romantic date for two getting ambushed, it still served its purpose as Kardashian and Thompson's relationship is getting stronger and serious as described by Kardashian herself. In fact, according to Kardashian's older sister, Kourtney, her sister's relationship with the Cleveland Cavaliers player has a seriousness level of five on a scale of one to six.
Kardashian was once married to NBA star Lamar Odom and also dated Houston Rockets player James Harden briefly after they met two years ago.
Meanwhile, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" returns to E! for its season 14 this Sunday, Oct. 1, at 9 p.m.
