Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Bel Air Mansion Targeted by Attempted Burglary
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's home was recently hit by a burglar, who also destroyed three of the couple's cars.
On Friday morning, an intruder broke into Kardashian and West's sprawling property in Bel Air. The perpetrator entered the area at the bottom of the driveway and searched three of the Kardashian-West family's cars. The thief immediately fled the scene after armed security guards tried to approach him, only taking an iPhone that belonged to one of Kardashian and West's staff.
The Sun reports security cameras around the property caught the man's face. Sources revealed that the same person also targeted the celebrity pair's neighbor, Kathy Griffin, where a purse was taken and a car was damaged.
The burglary came one year after the reality star was robbed at gunpoint in Paris. It was previously reported that a group of armed intruders broke into the 36-year-old's hotel room. Over $10 million worth of jewelry was stolen and ten individuals were charged following the incident.
Kardashian headed to Utah on Sunday to celebrate her 37th birthday with West. The duo enjoyed some much-needed rest at the Amangiri resort at Canyon Point. "It was just the two of them, no kids," an insider revealed to Us Weekly.
Through a series of Instagram photos, Kardashian showed off the breathtaking view from her room. "Most relaxing bday trip! #Amangiri," the mother of two captioned one photo featuring the Grand Circle canyons.
PEOPLE reported last week that Kardashian and West are in "full-on nesting mode" as they prepare for the birth of their new baby. The duo, who are already parents to 4-year-old daughter North and 21-month old Saint, are expecting their third child early next year via surrogate.
"They are both so excited about the baby," an insider close to West revealed. "They talk all the time. All he does is text Kim when they're not together. They're making so many plans."
