Kim Kardashian debuted blonde hair on Wednesday, but confirmed that the new do is in fact a wig.

The E! star, 33, characteristically took to social networking site Instagram to share selfies with her 15 million followers. In one shot, a blonde Kardashian is seen posing with famous stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele and in another she is seen sitting in stylist Serge Normant's chair.

"On set today with the legend @Carlynecerfdedudzeele !!!!" she captioned before writing alongside another photo "It's baaaaack!!!! #BlondeHairDontCare thanks to @SergeNormant."

The drastic hair change divided fans of Kardashian, who is famous for her trademark brunette locks. While many assumed the new do to be real, the reality TV star eventually came clean and revealed that she was simply wearing a wig.

"It's just a wig ?! Looks so real though right?" she captioned in yet another selfie.

The temporary hair change came one month after Kardashian married rapper Kanye West in Italy. The pair has been basking in the bliss of married life since tying the knot on May 24 despite reports of family drama.

On Wednesday, reports claimed the mother of one has not spoken to her younger brother Rob, 27, since he bailed on her lavish Florence wedding. The sock designer opted to leave Florence early after a reported dispute with Kardashian.

"[Rob] has no reason to talk to Kim, they haven't been on good terms for a very long time," a source told RadarOnline.com.

"[Kim] hasn't bothered to even attempt to talk to him since returning from her honeymoon, [while] Khloe has sent him text messages and left him several voice mails," the insider continued. "Rob hasn't returned any of Khloe's phone calls or texts. He feels completely estranged from his sisters and family. He really isn't in a good place."
