Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix Releases Dec. 2 in U.S., Limited Edition Available for Pre-Order
Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix" is scheduled for a Dec. 2 release in the U.S. The game was released in Japan Oct. 2 earlier this month. As with the rest of the Kingdom Hearts series, the game is exlcusively for the Playstation systems only and "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix" is for the Playstation 3.
Pre-orders are now available for the game and a Limited Edition of the game is available. The Limited Edition will include an exclusive Disney Collectible Pin feature Sora and Mickey Mouse and the game itself.
Two bundles were released in Japan, both featuring "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix" and a code to get an Anniversary Set for Kingdom Hearts [chi]. The first collection is titled Kingdom Hearts Starter Pack: HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix which includes the two remastered collections in a limited edition casing.
The second collection includes content from the first collection with the addition of a promo soundtrack and a booklet with art from the series.
The release is an HD remastering of three games in the series all developed by Square Enix in collaboration with Disney. The collection is a successor to "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5," also an HD remastered collection of games.
Included in the HD remix is "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix," and "Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix." The two games will be in high definition and will include trophy support. The collection also features "Kingdom Hearts Re:coded in Theatre Mode, with over 3 hours of HD remastered cinematics from the game as well as new content.
