Kit Harington Shares How Rose Leslie Forced Him to Wear a Jon Snow Costume to a Halloween Party

Kit Harington reveals a time when his fiancee, Rose Leslie, once forced her to wear a Jon Snow costume for a Halloween party.

It's surprising what one can do in the name of love regardless of shame and the loss of dignity. This is certainly what happened to "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington during one Halloween party wherein he was forced to dress up as his own character by none other than the soon-to-be Mrs. Harington herself, Rose Leslie.

According to the Daily Mail, both Harington and Leslie were invited to a Halloween party earlier this month and while the two were checking out what they would be wearing at a holiday store, his fiancee had already made the decision for him.

"She pulled out a Jon Snow costume, and Rose just whispered in my ear, 'I won't love you If you don't wear it...You should do it,'" Harington shared. Now, with such a threat given to him by Leslie, he wittingly obliged all in the name of love.

What's worse for him was the embarrassment he felt during the party for dressing up as his own character. Ironically, the party's theme was "bad taste." "It was really embarrassing," Kit explains. "The people bringing around canapes were looking at me, thinking, 'You're sad man! You've come to a party dressed as your character,'" he added.

Now, with this news, fans might be wondering if Harington brought in his actual Jon Snow costume. However, what he wore was something that's just actually from a local costume shop. Hopefully, guests didn't notice the difference.

Harington and Leslie had been dating since 2012 after meeting and falling in love on the set of their immensely popular show "Game of Thrones." Leslie has since departed from the show, but just this September, it was announced that the two are finally engaged.
