Kristen Bell Performs 'Frozen' Songs at Hurricane Irma Shelter

Kristen Bell performed for Florida residents at a shelter while waiting for Hurricane Irma to pass. The actress who voiced Anna from "Frozen," sang popular songs like "For the First Time in Forever."

According to ET Online, Bell put on a 10-minute show for around 200 evacuees taking shelter at Meadow Woods Middle School in Orlando, Florida.

During the performance, she invited one of the residents to come up on stage and sing with her. She also asked a local Orlando deputy to put on an interpretative dance, and he did.

"I hope maybe some of these songs are running through your head the rest of the day and will take your mind off of it," said Bell, who is also stranded in a hotel in Orlando.

Bert Rodriguez who played the piano for Bell shared what it was like working with the actress. He said she was "gracious" as well as "funny."

Rodriguez shared that Bell also sang "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" and a song that was cut from the film, "More Than Just the Spare."

Apart from singing the popular "Frozen" numbers, the actress continued to uplift everyone's spirits by hanging out with seniors, giving hugs to people who needed them, and finding shelter for the parents of her co-star Josh Gad.

Bell also sang "You are my Sunshine" with one of the elderly, who she jokingly called her "new side piece." In a tweet, she briefed her husband Dax Shepard about what she has been up to, and attached a video along with it.

Aside from Bell, countless stars have urged the public to donate to the victims of Hurricane Irma. Stars like Selena Gomez and Matthew McConaughey have showed their support for Hand in Hand, a charity event to raise funds for Hurricane victims.
