Kyle Richards News: Another Series To Be Based On 'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Star
A drama series to be based on the life of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards is in development with ABC.
According to reports, the said series will be called "Glass Houses" and will follow the life of Anisa Shattenkirk-Glass, who will launch her own company and challenge her former employer and mother-in law, Dahlia, in the real-estate market in L.A. as she tries to woo L.A.'s most lucrative and elite potential investors.
It has been learned that Universal Television will be producing "Glass Houses" in association with NBC Universal International Studios and Working Title. The upcoming series will be penned by Leonard Dick, who was also the executive producer and writer of the now defunct series, "The Good Wife." Apart from penning the script, Dick will also executive produce the upcoming series along with Andrew Stearn, Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, and Richards herself.

This is not the first time for a series to be based on Richard's life, though, as another upcoming drama, "American Woman" is also based on her life story. The project stars Alicia Silverstone and Mena Suvari and will tackle the sexual revolution and the rise of the second-wave feminism.
Richards has been a part of the main cast of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" since its first season. She first appeared in the 1975 Disney movie "Escape to Witch Mountain," where she played the younger version of the role her sister Kim Richards played. She is the aunt of Paris and Nicky Hilton as their mother, Kathy, is also her sister.
While Richards' husband, Mauricio Umansky, is one of America's top realtors and owns his own real-estate agency, The Agency, Richards runs her own fashion business, the high-end boutique Kyle by Alene Too.
Richards is expected to return for the season 8 of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," which will be dropped later this year.
Meanwhile, a release date is yet to be attached to both "Glass Houses" and "American Woman."
