Lamar Odom Fighting for Life after Found Unresponsive in Brothel
Lamar Odom is now struggling to stay alive after he was found unresponsive in a brothel in Nevada.
The former NBA player was rushed to a medical facility in Las Vegas after he was found unconscious inside a brothel on Tuesday. The incident marks another unfortunate segment in Lamar Odom's downward spiral in the past few years, according to Mirror.
The 35-year-old former basketball star is reportedly in a critical state after the ambulance picked him up from Love Ranch, Nevada. Odom had reportedly taken herbal Viagra and downed a couple of glasses of cognac, ESPN reports.

Odom's life has been riddled with lots of negative happenings, with the finalization of his divorce from Khloe Kardashian as the most recent. Last year, the New York Knicks booted him out of the team, and the previous years have been a continuous struggle for him to cope with separations and deaths of family members and his best friend.
At the age of 12, Odom already had to deal with the death of his mother Cathy Mercer from colon cancer. His dad was a heroin addict who did not have a close relationship with him. He said that was the time he began playing basketball "all day" and did not even come home to eat.
Odom lived with his grandmother Mildred Mercer during those tough times, but she died in 2004. He later had a son with Liza Morales, his girlfriend back then, but Jayden passed away seven months later due to sudden infant death syndrome, the report details.
The year 2009 brought rays of sunshine to Odom's otherwise gloomy life and that was the time he soared in his basketball career and married Kardashian. But in 2011, he attended the wake of a cousin who was allegedly "killed." After three days, the SUV that he was driving crashed into a motorcycle, which hit a teenage boy. Awsaf Alvi's head injuries turned out to be fatal.
"Death always seems to be around me. I've been burying people for a long time," Mirror quotes Odom's statement back then. "When I had to bury my child, I probably didn't start grieving until a year and a half later."
In 2013, Lamar's marriage started to crumble and rumors about his cheating and drug addiction began to hound him, the report adds.
Just this year, his closest friend Jamie Sangouthai died, causing his ex-wife to worry about him. Kardashian said she knew Odom has gone through a lot of losses and she feared he would continue to spiral downward.
For now, Lamar Odom's condition is still unstable, but support from his NBA buddies have started to pour out online.
