Lamar Odom News: Former NBA Star Steps Out in Public for the First Time Since Hospitalization

On Thursday, Lamar Odom stepped out into the Madison Square Garden, marking his first public appearance after being hospitalized for allegedly overdosing on drugs.

According to CNN, the former NBA star attended Kanye West's New York fashion show with Khloé Kardashian. The two looked happy and even smiled at the cameras, making some fans speculate that they may be getting back together.

Odom was hospitalized late last year and was released in January. He was found unresponsive in a brothel room and since then has gained a lot of attention from the media. Kardashian, who filed for divorce last year, has stayed with the former Los Angeles Lakers star most of the time during his stay at the hospital.

When he was first rushed to the hospital, a lot of fans speculated that he might not survive the ordeal. However, the days passed and the former basketball player proved that he could overcome it all.

Kardashian's divorce from Odom has never been finalized, making the two legally married until now. It should also be noted that just a few days ago, the reality star confirmed her breakup with Houston Rockets star James Harden.

Rumor has it that one of the reasons for the breakup is Kardashian's busy schedule and inability to spend more time with Harden ever since Odom was hospitalized.

Odom and Kardashian have been spending time with the reality TV star's family over the past few days and West's fashion show was the latest appearance that stirred social media and news outlets. It is highly speculated that the two may be mending the torn bond between them now that Kardashian is free from her romantic relationship with Harden.

While the crowd cheered when Kardashian and Odom walked into the room during the event, some noticed that the latter walked with a limp. Doctors said last year that Odom's road to complete recovery was a long and strenuous one. It seems the doctors were wrong as the former sports icon has displayed strength and determination for the past months.
