'Late Night with Seth Meyers' Host Welcomes Baby Boy

On Sunday, March 27, Seth Meyers welcomed his first child with wife Alexi Ashe with a celebratory post on social media that made the world rejoice.

According to People, Meyers, 42, and his wife, 32, confirmed the news though they have not given any details or the baby's name. It is expected that the talk show host will share details of the experience during Tuesday's episode of "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

Meyers said in a tweet on Monday, "Thank you everyone for the kind words! Mom and baby are doing great!!!" He also joked in another post saying, "I can also confirm that when you have a baby in New York you pretty much just sing 'The Schuyler Sisters' for the first 12 hours."

Earlier this month, Meyers talked to the outlet and shared how excited he is to see who his child will resemble. He joked that it would be a problem if the baby won't come out looking like him or his wife since a lot of people said they look alike.

Meyers also said he and his wife have been asking around for advice from people who already have more than one child since they know more about raising kids than those who have just one.

According to CBS News, Meyers also had a chat with Jennifer Garner earlier this month wherein the host received advice from the mother of three. For Garner, it is best to just let the kids grow and parents should stop worrying too much about a lot of things since the struggle is real, not only for Meyers and his wife, but for other parents as well.

For the past months, the couple kept the baby's sex a secret from the public and while many fans requested for more hints, it is only now that they announced the coming of their baby boy.

The executive producer of "Documentary Now!" has been married to Alexi, who is a human rights attorney, since 2013.
