An ad was put out, which Groves allegedly replied to, requesting "full service" from someone who he assumed to be a prostitute. However, unknown to him he was contacting an undercover police officer.

He reportedly arranged to meet the prostitute at a hotel, but was arrested shortly after arriving at the hotel.

The police report reads: "(Groves) agreed to one hour of time for 100.00 and was told that anal would be an additional 20.00."

Groves was searched and police officers reportedly seized $195.70 and a box of condoms from the football star as evidence against him.

The Cleveland Browns' LB was not the only one caught in the sting, and according to reports more than a dozen other men also responded to the ad and were arrested by the undercover police officers.

Only recently, Groves signed a two-year, $2.8 million deal with the Browns. The football star has chosen not to comment so far on the arrest.

Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis has confirmed that the team's management was aware of the situation but declined to issue any further comment in regards to the incident.

Groves is now scheduled to appear in court on May 10.
