Lea Michele Pregnancy Tweet Shocks Fans; 'Glee' Star Not Expecting Baby Boy
Lea Michele sparked pregnancy reports on Friday when a tweet revealed that she is pregnant, however, the actress has denied sending out the tweet.
The "Glee" star, 27, set tongues wagging on July 4 when a tweet sent out to her 4 million Twitter followers revealed she is expecting a baby boy but she was reportedly the victim of hacking, according to GossipCop.
On Thursday, Michele's co-star Chris Colfer was also hacked on Twitter.
"Before this gets out to the media, I would like to announce to my fans that I am pregnant #BabyBoy," Michele's tweet read.
The pregnancy debacle comes days after Michele stepped out publicly for the first time with her new boyfriend Matthew Paetz. The couple was photographed enjoying a romantic walk in Los Angeles last weekend fueling romance reports.
The pair reportedly met on the set of Michele's music video for her song "On My Way." They have been seemingly inseparable ever since.
The romance comes one year after the tragic death of Michele's late boyfriend and former "Glee" co-star Cory Monteith.
"She had just come from Coachella where she was missing Cory incredibly," a source told Us magazine of the new couple. "[The video shoot] was a big party and a really therapeutic moment for her."
Paetz describes himself on Twitter as a dating and lifestyle coach, but there are rumors regarding his alleged past as a male escort, according to TMZ.com. Michele and Paetz have not publicly addressed dating reports.
Monteith, who played Finn Hudson alongside Michele on the popular TV series, died from mixed drug toxicity on July 13 – he was 31.
The "Cannonball" singer, who plays Rachel Berry on the musical TV series, began dating her former co-star in early 2012 and she still struggles with his untimely death.
I really feel like I'm still trying to figure out all of this," a softspoken Michele told Ellen last year. "It's been only a few months, but my mom has experienced a lot of loss in her life and she told me at one point, she said, there is an empowerment that comes with grief, at some point you find it."
