LG G Watch R to Be Available Soon With AT&T

Smartwatches are slowly gaining a foothold in the market as other manufacturers aside from Samsung are starting to put out a wrist watch line of their own. Apple has the Apple Watch, Motorola has the Moto 360, Microsoft has the Microsoft Band, and LG has the G Watch R.

While the G Watch R is still not available in the U.S., wireless carrier AT&T has confirmed that it will be one of the first major carriers to sell LG's smartwatch. There's no announcement of when the watch will be available yet but it will most likely be soon, before Christmas at the very least.

The G Watch R would probably cost more than $230 as the watch is already available in the UK at £299.99
LG's own smartwatch would be the second wrist device to feature a round-face type design, following close on Motorola's Moto 360 design. However, unlike the Moto 360's minimalist design, the G Watch R has taken on the look of big sports watches, much like Casio's G Shock watch line.
