After winning Game 1, they were leading 2-0 in Game 2 late in the Second Period, when a Justin Williams goal sparked a flurry of activity from the Kings' offense. Since that goal the Kings have not looked back, and they turned a situation around where they were likely to go 0-2 down in the series, into a 3-1 lead.
In Game 4, it was the fast start that the Kings got that saw them claim the win. They managed to jump out to a 4-0 lead, before the Blackhawks knew what had hit them. Chicago did fight back but it was not enough, and the Kings won the Game 4-2.
They will not be looking to get off to another lightning start in Game 5 to give themselves the chance to play for a second Stanley Cup title in three seasons.
