New MacBook Air To Come in New Sizes?
Apple's latest upgrade of the MacBook Air last year disappointed fans and Apple enthusiasts as it did not offer anything new except for an optional random access memory upgrade.
Meanwhile, for the MacBook Air 2017, Apple enthusiasts are expecting that the company will introduce a better and rather game-changing line of MacBook Airs.
However, there are still persistent rumors which say that Apple could decide to phase out their MacBook Air line of devices for good.

No information has been heard from the company yet, but it was reported that the 13-inch MacBook Airs are getting replaced by the new 13-inch MacBook Pro sans-touch-bar model.
The possibility of phasing out the entire MacBook Air line is looming, but some technology enthusiasts speculate that the company might still unveil a new MacBook Air in the early half of 2017, as was the case with the previous models. Case in point, the last line of MacBooks were unveiled in April 2016, so it is possible that fans could expect for the new one around the same time this year.
Upcoming MacBook Air devices are speculated to be available in two different size variants - the largest being 17 inches, and the other a small and lighter one, both thinner and lighter than the previous ones. Many speculate that this might be Apple's effort to create a unique selling point for the device.
In addition, it is also rumored that the new MacBook Air will feature a 4K display capability, and will support USB 3.1 and DisplayPort 1.2.
Most importantly, the more or less confirmed processor for the new MacBook Air in 2017 is Intel's Kaby Lake processor - which is also going to be used in Apple's MacBook Pro, among others.
In a Forbes review by Brooke Crothers, this new processor may not necessarily aim at enhanced speed and processing, but focuses more on making the device energy-efficient and less susceptible to overheating. In other words, fans can expect for the new MacBook Air to have better and longer battery life.
