Tonight's premiere episode will see how he continues to recover from previous set-backs and how he will get his life back on track.

This season will see "evolution" as the core theme, and the main characters will be developing themselves through their business interests and their personal lives.

The official AMC synopsis for the episode "Time Zones" reads: "Don makes a friend; Joan has drinks with a client; Roger receives a perplexing phone call; Peggy hears new work."

The final 14 episodes of the series in Season 7 are being divided into two parts, with the first seven episodes being segregated as Part 1 beginning with tonight's episode.

Following these first seven episodes, there will be a long break before the final seven episodes are shown in Part 2 in 2015.

Part 1 of Season 7 has been given a title of "The Beginning" where as the final seven episodes have been titled "The End of an Era."
