Mario Lopez Gets Assaulted in Las Vegas Spa

Mario Lopez was assaulted while enjoying the facilities at a Las Vegas Spa last Friday.

The "Extra" host was assaulted by another regular customer at the Planet Hollywood Spa by Mandara in Las Vegas last Sept. 15, TMZ reports.

Lopez was going back for his phone that he left inside the locker when he bumped into the guy that attacked him. According to the sources, Lopez said "Excuse me" to the guy, who then answered, "You got a problem?"

The guy was seconds away from getting physical with Lopez when an employee interfered. Lopez explained that he just wanted to get back his phone. The guy then got Lopez' phone and threw to a wall, shattering it to pieces.

After that, the spa's security came and police were called to the scene. However, Lopez refused to press any charges against the guy, and the man wasn't taken into arrest by the authorities.

To make up for the guy's horrible actions, Planet Hollywood Spa replaced Lopez' phone for free. They also banned the guy that assaulted Lopez, who apparently is known for causing trouble.

Lopez didn't seem to be shaken by the incident because he appeared at Jennifer Lopez' show at Planet Hollywood — "All I Have" — later that night, and he seemed to be enjoying his time with his wife, Courtney Mazza.

Lopez was recently at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards last Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, for Extra.

On his Instagram account, Lopez shared updates, interviews, and snapshots with the stars that attended the event. He invited some of them to take a tequila shot with him while on the red carpet.

Lopez took a shot of tequila using bangle flasks with "American Horror Story" star Sarah Paulson and "Modern Family" alum Sofia Vergara. He tried to make "This Is Us" cast member Chrissy Metz take a shot, but she was too overwhelmed to do it.
