Mass Effect 4 New Title Rumored to Be Revealed at Honorcon, Release Sometime in 2015
It's been two years since the release of the BioWare's "Mass Effect 3" and fans are already high in anticipation to the release of the next title, "Mass Effect 4." Creators have already announced that the game won't be a sequel to the previous title and will feature a new storyline as well as a new protagonist and characters.
The game is also confirmed to be in development but details regarding the game have been scarce, with devs only releasing a few tid bits every now and then. Fans have been adamant at getting updates regularly but the developers have not been able to deliver often.
The game's producer, Mike Gamble, had hinted on a Twitter discussion that Mass Effect 4 won't be called as such and is likely to get a new name. He had mentioned the update again during the recent Gamescom 2014 but recently, he had said he had no idea what "Mass Effect 4" was.
The statement was seemingly a joke but it was an indication that the new title is likely to be named something else. The new title of the game is rumored to be possibly revealed in an upcoming military and sci-fi convention called Honorcon on Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.
While the game is going to be given a new plotline and characters, developers have said that the fourth title will still be set in the same timeline as the Sheperd storyline. The to-be-titled game is also to be the first Mass Effect game to be released on the next-gen consoles. As for the release date, there is still no exact date but is speculated to be released sometime in 2015.
