'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Ark Locations Guide: Finding Asari, Turian and Salarian
BioWare and Electronic Arts' newest space exploration game, "Mass Effect: Andromeda," was just released last week, and one of its many missions is to find three missing arks which were believed to carry three different alien races.
These arks are named the Asari, the Turian and the Salarian, and they were expected to arrive at the Nexus alongside a human-carrying ship. They did not materialize, however, and it is up to the game's protagonist, Ryder, to find them.
Hints towards finding any of the lost arks can be discovered as a player progresses through the game.
For the first ark, the Asari, the mission starts after a player finishes the game's first main story mission titled "A Better Beginning." The second part of the main mission, which is titled "A Trial of Hope," also needs to be completed before they finally locate the lost ark.
When a player finishes "A Better Beginning," an email from Cora will be received and players should go talk to Harper in order to start the new loyalty mission titled "Cora Harper: Asari Ark."
Players also need to talk to an Asari refugee, Hydartia, who can be found at the Prodromos outpost. Hydartia will talk about another ship named the Periphona and players can easily locate this on the planet VoeId with SAM's help.
Another email from Cora will be received, and players can start the loyalty mission "Cora Harper: At Duty's Edge" after finishing "A Trial of Hope." This mission will finally reveal the lost ark, Asari. Players need to prepare to face and beat a Kett infestation, since the Asari is riddled with it.
The Turian Ark can be located after finishing the first main story mission, "A Better Beginning." This gives players access to the Havarl planet, and upon arrival, SAM can help locate a Turian camp which is surrounded by the enemy.
Part 2 of the mission begins after unlocking travel to Eladaan, and players need the help of a friend, Avitus Rix, who will eventually send an email and start players on a mission called "Lost But Not Forgotten," that can lead to the Turian Ark.
The third lost ark, the Salarian, is linked to a main story mission titled "Hunting the Archon," but players still need to finish that mission before finding the ship.
Once players talk to Gil at The Tempest, they will be instantly led to the Ark which is also infested with Kett, like the Asari.
Players need to face a bunch of enemies, including a boss fight against Krogan. However, they are also advised to take care of Kett first, before going after Krogan with high-powered ammunition.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
