McDonald's News: Fast Food Giant Denies Cheating Customers out of its Fries Servings
McDonald's has denied the allegations that it is using a trick to make its fries containers look fuller than they actually are.
The Internet was recently abuzz when an incognito Redditor, who claims to have worked in McDonald's, alleged that the fast food chain had taught its employees a trick when serving their world-famous fries. According to the supposed former McDonald's crew, the fries containers are pinched so that it would still look loaded with fries despite not being fully filled.
"They taught me how to pinch the fry carton just right while putting the fries into them so that it looked full, but actually wasn't. I only had one customer call me out on it. He shook the fries out into his bag and poured them back into the fry carton himself and it only filled up half way, so I had to give him more fries," alleged the supposed former McDonald's crew who hides by the name ExperiMENTALbunny on Reddit.

However, as expected, McDonald's belies the accusations, saying that the alleged trick was completely untrue. For the fast food giant, the allegations are simply contradictory to the company's procedures and mission to deliver customer satisfaction.
"There are strict procedures in place to ensure that fry boxes and bags are appropriately filled so our customers can enjoy our world famous fries to the fullest," Terri Hickey, a spokesperson for McDonald's, said in an email to Business Insider.
Meanwhile, McDonald's has revealed the reason the Coke they serve tastes better than those served in other fast food chains. According to the fast food giant, it adheres to the strict guidelines set by Coca-Cola to maintain the same taste as the one in a bottle by making its syrups and drink fountain are ice cold.
This way, the carbon dioxide levels of the chilled water can become more carbonated, resulting in a crisper fizzy drink.
