Meghan Markle Quits 'Suits'
"Suits" actress Meghan Markle has quit the show, allegedly for her engagement to Prince Harry.
Prince Harry and Markle are rumored to be heading for marriage. In preparation for their engagement, the actress is said to have dropped her role on "Suits." The Daily Star suggests that the official announcement of their impending union will be made before Christmas.
Markle plays a fierce paralegal named Rachel Zone in the hit legal drama series. Rumor has it the actress has told her bosses that she will not be reprising her role for the eighth season of "Suits," which is due for release next year.
"Meghan loves playing Rachel and feels she owes so much to Suits," a source tells The Sun. She will have to sacrifice this role to be together with Harry. Since the Prince cannot move to Toronto, where she lives, she will eventually have to move.
The actress is expected to wrap up filming her scenes in Vancouver, Canada in Nov. After her commitments, she is reportedly moving to London with her beau.
A source close to the Prince has informed the Daily Mail that he is looking for high-end properties in the Cotswold hills.
"He is searching for a new home in the area," the source told the publication.
"Before Meghan, he was vaguely looking in Norfolk but didn't find what he wanted. Now, with her input, he's renewed his search."
The pair has tried living together before. Reports say they had two mini-breaks, one in Feb. the other in July, where they spent at Soho Farmhouse, perfect for celebrities who want to drop off the radar.
The couple made their first public appearance at Harry's Invictus Games, a Paralympic sporting event, where they were photographed holding hands.
