For the European country, they know clearly a win would see them progress to the Last 16. However, they come up against a team knowing they would progress with a draw, so expect to prioritize ensuring their defense is as rock solid as possible. Although they will probably look to hit Croatia on the counter-attack more than taking the game to them.

If today's game between Mexico and Croatia ends in a draw, and Brazil lose to Cameroon then there is an outside chance that these two teams could go through and Brazil would go out with a worse goal difference. However, neither Mexico or Croatia will be banking on Brazil losing to Cameroon today.

Mexico boss Miguel Herrera has indicated that he will choose an unchanged side for the third game in a row. His team has served him well, gaining as good as results as they could have hoped for coming into the tournament so far. He will hope they can get them over the mark today and qualify for the Last 16.

Croatia will be hoping to push on now and maintain momentum from their emphatic 4-0 win over Cameroon. They suffered a 1-3 loss to Brazil in their opening game, but their big win over Cameroon eradicated their minus goal difference, and even pushed them up to +2, which gives them an outside of qualifying for the next round even with a draw today.

Croatia vs Mexico will kick off at 4 p.m. ET and will be shown on TV on the ESPN network. The game can also be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.
