Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers Live Stream Free: Watch NBA 2014 Playoffs Game 5 Online (ESPN TV Start Time)

The Miami Heat will play the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night in Game 5 of their NBA 2014 Playoffs series. The Heat are on the verge of claiming yet another Eastern Conference title, but with the series now switching back to Indiana, the Pacers will be hoping to pull a game back and take this on to a Game 6. The game will start at 8.30 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through free live stream (details below).

The Pacers looked good after Game 1. They successfully nullified the offensive threat from the Heat, and were able to penetrate going forward themselves to claim a 107-96 win.

However, LeBron James and co. came fighting back in Game 2, which was very much a battle between the two defenses. Both teams successfully stifled one another, but it was the Heat who came out on top, winning 87-83 to level the series back to 1-1.

The series then moved to Miami for Games 3 and 4, and the Pacers started to struggle badly. They were unable to contain the offensive threat from the Miami star players, and in both games things were over well before the end of the game.

Game 3 ended 99-87 to the Heat, and Game 4 also finished with a 12 point gap between the teams at 102-90.

That put the Heat 3-1 and on the verge of the making the NBA 2014 Final. They must now win just one of the final three games of the series, and not many would be betting against them doing so.

The Pacers will be relieved to get back home to Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, and will hope they can spark a turning point in the series tonight.

If they can win tonight, they would need to travel to Miami for Game 6 on Friday knowing they would have to win a road game to keep their hopes of a Championship alive. However, if they are able to string two wins together they would then be in the driving seat for the deciding Game 7, which would take place in Indiana on Sunday.

Winning three straight games against the Heat is a tough ask, and the pressure will be immense on the Pacers players. The first step to take tonight is to take this to Game 6 back in Miami.
