Michael Jackson New Song: 'Love Never Felt So Good' Ft. Justin Timberlake Premieres, Album 'Xscape' Coming Soon (VIDEO)

Michael Jackson's new song "Love Never Felt So Good" premiered at the iHeartRadio Music Awards show Thursday night, and the song was released on iTunes at midnight. The single, originally recorded in 1983, was modernized by producers and now features Justin Timberlake, and promotes Jackson's first posthumous album, Xscape.

Michael Jackson's new song "Love Never Felt So Good" was introduced by Antonio "L.A." Reid, who said the song was "contemporized" with modern producers like Timbaland and Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins.

"When I first went into Michael's archives and heard the in-the-raw version of the song you're about to hear, I was instantly reminded that, yes, Michael Jackson is the greatest," he said.

About halfway through the song, Usher Raymond came up from the stage and started his dance routine, mirroring some of the King of Pop's best and flashiest moves.

"Love Never Felt So Good" was initially co-produced, co-wrote and recorded along with Paul Anka. The track was produced by Timbaland, Jerkins, Stargate, Jerome "Joc" Harmon and John McClain. "Love Never Felt So Good" appears on the album with just Jackson initially, but Timberlake is featured on the bonus track.

Xscape has songs Jackson recorded in the 1980s and the 1990s, some from early recording sessions for Bad and Dangerous. The eight-track album includes the song "Xscape," which was produced by Jerkins. Jerkins had worked on the track in 1999 and 2003.

"Even when Michael was alive, we never stopped working on the song 'Xscape,'" he told the Associated Press. "It was one of those songs where he specifically said to me, 'It has to see the light of day one day.'"

"And I then I spoke to him — I would say 2008, 2009, something like that — and he was telling me, 'I'm getting ready to do another album. You gotta get to work. Start working on ideas,'" he recalled. "And then he passed away."

Xscape will be released May 13.
