Miley Cyrus Closes 'The Tonight Show' by Performing 'The Climb' for Everyone Affected by the Las Vegas Shooting

America is still grieving from the aftermath of the horrific Las Vegas shooting, but Miley Cyrus offers another way to grieve — by spreading love, positivity and hope.

Miley Cyrus was all set to entertain the viewers of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" for a whole week, but following the Las Vegas shooting, where a man shot to death 59 people with 400 getting injured, she opted for a change in her plans. Initially slated to perform songs from her new album "Younger," the 24-year-old pop star decided it would be better to sing a song she hadn't sung in over six years.

Cyrus kicked off her week-long stay on the show performing Dido's "No Freedom" with actor Adam Sandler. Prior to that, however, she posted her own message of love on Instagram saying, "In honor of the lives lost, injured and affected by the tragic shooting in Vegas, @fallontonight & I dedicated this show to not only mourning this horrific event but using this platform to encourage unity, peace & hopefulness!"
