Miranda Lambert Bob Haircut Debuted Ahead of Platinum Tour

Miranda Lambert is the latest starlet to chop her hair into a bob style this week.

The "Somethin' Bad" singer just released her brand new album "Platinum" last week, but she is already celebrating its number-one track song "Automatic" with a party on Monday, June 30. Instead of celebrating with cars or jewelry at the Nashville party, Lambert debuted a very short, sophisticated hairstyle featuring her blonde locks cut to chin-length with side-swept bangs, according to US Weekly.

The country music star joins a slew of other celebrities to chop their hair recently, including Jennifer Lawrence, Hilary Duff, Kaley Cuoco, and Kristen Wiig. In addition to her short hair, Lambert displayed her recent weight loss during the celebration in a strapless pink dress paired with a strand of pearls and silver high heels. The singer's slimmed-down party look this week arrives just one month after she posed on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine in short shorts, known as daisy dukes. Consequently, the "House That Built Me" singer maintained that she has not lost as much weight as people think.

"People think I lost more, but I'm short," she said to People earlier this year. "I'm only 5'4" so when I gain, I gain everywhere, and when I lose, I lose everywhere."

Meanwhile, the singer kicks off her "Platinum" tour on July 10 in Ohio. Earlier this year, Lambert explained the title of her new album while speaking to The Boot.

"Platinum represents a lifestyle for me," the singer said. "It's the color of my hair, my wedding ring, my airstream trailer, so it's just a natural fit for the name of my new album and it's why we decided to name the tour Platinum, too."

Lambert, who is married to Blake Shelton, will play 30 shows along the tour, which wraps up Sept. 20 in Honolulu.
