Motorola Moto G vs HTC Desire 610: Comparison of Specs, Features

Having a quality Android device doesn't always mean shelling out big money to get it. Though premium phones do have their charms and advantages over more affordable phones, some mid-range devices are worth your time, such as the Motorola Moto G and the HTC Desire 610.

The Moto G has an arched back and rounded corners on the sides, making it very comfortable to hold. Choose from Chalk, Violet, Spearmint, Raspberry, Royal Blue, Turquoise, Lemon Lime, and Cherry among others. The handset measures 5.11 x 2.59 x 0.46 inches and weighs 5.04 ounces.

The HTC Desire 610 is constructed entirely from plastic, making it feel very much like a budget device. It has a flat back that curves around at the side and rounded corners. The phone is available in black, green, white, red, and navy blue. It measures 5.63 x 2.78 x 0.38 inches and weighs 5.06 ounces.

Both phones are equipped with an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3MP front-facing shooter. Both also have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core processor. Both run on the Android 4.4 KitKat, but the HTC phone has the HTC Sense skin on top. Both devices come with an internal storage of 8GB, and can be expanded with a microSD card slot.

Price:
With almost the same specs, the Motorola Moto G wins over the HTC Desire 610 for its better display, and also for its price—The Moto G costs $179 off contract, while the HTC Desire 610 costs $200 off contract.
