Naya Rivera Files Request to Dismiss Divorce From Estranged Husband Ryan Dorsey
Actress Naya Rivera may be having some second thoughts about divorcing estranged husband Ryan Dorsey.
Naya Rivera of "Glee" fame has reportedly filed a request for the dismissal of her divorce paperwork. It should be remembered that back in November 2016, it was revealed that she had filed for divorce from her actor husband Ryan Dorsey, citing "irreconcilable differences." Now, it would appear as if she has had a change of heart.
It has not been confirmed whether or not the estranged couple had gotten back together, but a source told E! News that Rivera and Dorsey are trying to make it work for the sake of their son, 2-year-old Josey. Neither Rivera nor Dorsey has made a comment regarding this matter.
This news comes 11 months after Rivera first filed for divorce from Dorsey, asking for full custody of their son and visitation rights for the father. Rivera and Dorsey had been in an on-and-off relationship since the first time they dated each other.
The pair first dated back in 2010 and split up shortly after. Rivera would eventually start dating rapper Big Sean. Three months after breaking off her engagement with Big Sean, Rivera and Dorsey tied the knot in 2014, and a year after, they welcomed a son Josey Hollis Dorsey, born in Sept. 2015. Unfortunately, after two years of marriage, the couple would once again break up for the second time.
Speaking to People magazine, the couple announced in a statement: "After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time."
After calling it quits, the 30-year-old actress began dating comedian-actor David Spade, who was 24 years her senior. It looks like the relationship wouldn't last and Rivera may have gotten back together with the father of her child.
