NBA 2K14 Nex-Gen Graphics to Run in 1080p 60fps (TRAILER)

NBA 2K14 will run on 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second for the PlayStation4 and Xbox One, a gaming director said.

James Thomas, Visual Concepts executive director, told IGN that the new game will run in true HD on the next-gen consoles.

One look at the trailer is enough to agree, as it stuns with amazing visual graphics.

Just two days after NBA 2K14 revealed a next-gen snapshot of the game, last Friday they released the trailer.

The minute and half long trailer features the game's cover man, Lebron James, along with NBA stars: Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kobe Bryant, and others performing various actions on the basketball court.

The moves, shots, dunks, and facial expressions look extremely impressive as the jaw-dropping graphics are some of the most realistic around.

"Experience the next-generation of NBA 2K14 for the first time in this brand new trailer. Can you feel it coming in the air tonight?" the description in the YouTube video reads.

The new game is looking to elevate the play of the game to make it the most authentic of the franchise yet, according to Gamespot.

They revamped the right analog stick to allow for the fancy and ankle breaking crossovers an NBA fan sees on TV. Overall it gives the player more of an arsenal on offense to get creative with shots.

The announcing has been greatly improved too. The commentary follows the game closely and gives in game updates pertaining to the action on the court rather than just filler talk.

There is a new mode called Path to Greatness that was specifically made for James as he looks to become the greatest of all time by unlocking achievements and surpassing goals. Like James in real life, the gamer is offered two paths; stay with the Miami Heat and create a dynasty, or try your luck somewhere else.

Interestingly enough, 2K Sports may be the only video game developer putting out a basketball game this year.

NBA 2K 2014 was released on Oct. 1 and will arrive to the next-gen consoles when they arrive.
