NBA 2K14 Next-Gen Owners Get 1st Preorder Chance for Lebron 11's

NBA 2K14 PS4 and Xbox One owners will be the first inline to pre-order exclusive limited edition LeBron 11's, James' new sneakers, by playing through career mode.

"Only the most dedicated and passionate Nike and NBA 2K14 fans will be eligible for an opportunity to purchase this special LeBron 11," a NIKE pre-order page posted with a blacked out image of the shoe. See the listing here.

According to SoleCollector.com's Brandon Richard, in order to qualify for the game a user must first create a "MyPLAYER" in 2K14, and gain an elite player ranking through 60 games. After this is done, the gamer will have to "Accept Nike Endorsement Path and be one of the first fans to create a Signature Shoe in the Innovation Kitchen," the NIKE posting reads.

"Once eligible, you will see an in-game congratulatory message from LeBron James inviting you to purchase this limited-edition LeBron 11. You'll be emailed a unique 16-digit access code. Visit www.nike.com/2K14, use your access code to unlock the order page, and pre-order your shoes. Limit one per access code. Nike will ship the shoes when they arrive in March 2014. Pre-orders are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. A unique access code does not guarantee Nike will have the shoes in stock," the listing continues.

According to the Bleacherreport, the sneakers will be $220, and will be officially released in March of 2014.

NBA 2K14 is now officially out for both next-gen consoles, the PS4 and Xbox One, and so far the game has been praised for its astounding gameplay and graphics. 2K Sports has released an official video to celebrate titled, "Next-Gen Momentous Trailer."

"Step into the world of next-gen NBA 2K14 with this brand new Momentous trailer. The best basketball sim available has arrived," the trailer description reads.

The trailer matches their celebration by showing a number of the players making buckets and doing a little celebration of their own as rapper Macklemore's "Can't Hold Us" is playing.

NBA 2K14 was released on Oct. 1 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It arrived for the PS4 on November 15, and the Xbox One on the 22nd.
