'NBA 2K16' Update: New Locker Codes, Player Rankings & Rosters Update Released
It's been four months since 2K Sports released its basketball simulation video game "NBA 2K16" but the hype is still very high as when the game just came out. It's no surprise though since the game has been getting fresh updates every now and then.
In fact, to be in line with the holidays, 2K Sports released a lot of updates in December. According to Ecumenical News, gamers were treated with some holiday-themed and Marvel-themed jerseys. They were also able to receive some updated locker codes last month and they can be used throughout the whole month of January, which means "NBA 2K16" isn't getting new ones for now.
Perhaps the next batch of locker codes will arrive on February because as The Bit Bag reported, 2K Sports is currently busy conducting on Twitter a vote poll for its next Cover Athlete. There's a chance though that the poll will be the basis for the next update release.
Crossmap reported though that the game just recently unveiled two new locker codes for Kristaps Porzingis and Brian Scalabrine. As noted in the source, the locker code for Kristaps Porzingis is PJHK3-E122X-LEZ9J-4VOWS-TS62R while Limited Amethyst Brian Scalabrine is TR903-OLFCD-LE2DC-ADT49-OSH21.
Latin Post also detailed that the game made some updates with its player rankings and rosters last Thursday and Friday. Remaining at the top is Golden State Warrior player Stephen Curry who is the highest overall ranked player with a 95 rating. Next to him is LeBron James who garnered an overall rating of 94 after losing points in several categories in the recent update.
As for the roster update, Operation Sports noted that players like Kevin Durant, John Wall, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, DeMarcus Counsins, Chris Bosh, Kobe Bryant, Gordon Hayward, DeMar DeRozan, Manu Ginobili, Avery Bradley and Andre Drummond have had their attributes increased by one point.
Those who received a two-point increase include Draymond Green, Kemba Walker and Jimmy Butler. C.J. McCollum, Andrew Wiggins and Rudy Gay had a one-point decrease in their attributes while Tim Duncan and Marc Gasol had a two-point decrease.
