NBA Trade Rumors 2015: Celtics' David Lee Eyed To Be Traded; Rockets' Dwight Howard Confirmed To Be 'Unhappy' With Team?

After acquiring him last summer, the Boston Celtics are said to be already looking to put big man David Lee in the trading block.

In an initial report by TNT analyst David Aldridge for NBA.com, the problem seemed to have stemmed from a "minutes problem," wherein Lee was affected the most. Aldridge adds that another factor would be the said player's contract, which is already nearing its expiration.

In a Dec. 22 report by Randy Miller for NJ.com, Lee, who had averaged 7.3 points and 4.3 rebounds throughout 25 played games at the time of the report, did have a chance to play as a starter on Monday when the Celtics played the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 113-99 victory. Last season, Lee averaged 7.9 points, 5.2 rebounds through 18.4 minutes of action, playing a total of 49 out of 82 games.

According to NBA.com, throughout his total of 11 seasons in the NBA, Lee is currently averaging 14.4 points and 9.3 rebounds.

For his part, Lee says he will simply accept the cards that he is dealt with and make the most out of the situation.

"I can choose to be frustrated by it or I can choose to make the most out of my time and make a positive contribution and find a way to do it in different ways," he said, according to the NJ.com report.

Meanwhile, it appears as if Dwight Howard is indeed unhappy with his current situation with the Houston Rockets. In a separate report by Miller for NJ.com, writer Chris Sheridan initially claimed Howard's dissatisfaction with the team, which the player denied outright.

But apparently, Sheridan insisted that Howard is indeed feeling great discontent with the team for being sparingly used.

The report notes Sheridan's further claims about Howard's view on the team, adding that Howard has only been in his A-game when he was the "alpha dog," and this was during his early years in the league with the Orlando Magic.

"The guy's unhappy," Sheridan wrote, according to the report. "He doesn't like playing with James Harden. That's a fact."
