'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 9 Episode 12 Spoilers: Squad Discovers Potential Terror Attack

Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and his team will thwart a potential terrorist attack in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles."

In the episode titled "Under Pressure," the synopsis reveals that the NCIS will be alarmed to find an incendiary material used in warfare in a crime scene. The squad appears to be investigating a different case when the members stumble upon napalm, a flammable liquid that is used in creating bombs. Napalm is a highly combustible sticky jelly made of gasoline or a similar fuel. The scene suggests that someone is planning a terror attack in the city.

The agents will reportedly interrogate a person who is the only one who can lead them to the right path in the probe. Callen and the others are aware that they must hurry before the situation escalates. They know that somewhere in Los Angeles, someone is planning to kill many innocent lives. They must stop the attempt at any cost or else, they will blame themselves for not moving fast enough to avoid a disaster.

Last episode, the squad handled a ransomware attack. The assault took out the power grid of the entire Los Angeles west area. The episode also shows Sam's (LL Cool J) struggle as he and his son spent Christmas without Michelle (Aunjanue Ellis). His wife was killed the last instalment by a terrorist who had a grudge against him. It was the Hannas' first holidays without Michelle and the boys were depressed.

Callen did his best to cheer up Sam and show him that he was not alone. The others also made sure that the big man felt their love and concern. Elsewhere, viewers got a glimpse of Mosley (Nia Long) during her weak moment. While the rest of her team were celebrating, she was found alone at her office, contemplating about life.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 9 will return on Sunday, Jan. 7 at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
