'NCIS' Season 13 News: How Will Weatherly's Exit Change Things?

Fans of the series have been waiting to know more about what will happen to "NCIS" now that one of its leads is expected to depart when the season ends.

It was previously revealed that Michael Weatherly will be making his exit in the 13th season of "NCIS." The actor has been part of the series since the very beginning, which makes his exit heartbreaking.

The actor recently spoke to E! Online about his time on the series. He stated, "I have had the most extraordinary journey and ride. It's been a hugely gratifying and awesome experience and I pray that when I'm in my old folks rest home — which is only a few years from now — that I will look back on these 300 episodes."

With that, there are reports that the series will bring in two new faces in the new season of "NCIS." It was stated that the series will have two female characters making their debut in season 14.

In the meantime, fans will just have to cherish the last few episodes that feature Weatherly's character, DiNozzo. The previous episode saw DiNozzo sharing a nice moment with his fellow colleagues.

The upcoming episode of "NCIS" is titled "After Hours," which will bring the series to another milestone for the series. It was stated that the upcoming episode will be the episode before the 300th episode of the series.

According to the synopsis of the episode, the group will have to put a hold on their personal affairs. They will be working on a case that will be a difficult challenge for all of them.

Because of this, DiNozzo will have to put all his attention to the case, instead of his highly anticipated date with McGee, played by Sean Murray.

"NCIS" season 13 episode 17 is expected to air this Mar. 1.
