'NCIS' Season 15 Episode 11 Spoilers: Torres Leads Squad's Sting Operation
Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) will be front and centre in a sting operation to catch drug smugglers in the upcoming episode of "NCIS."
In the episode titled "High Tide," the synopsis reveals that the NCIS will be tracking down criminals who are involved in a drug smuggling operation in the Norfolk civilian marina. Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will be asking Torres and Bishop (Emily Wickersham) to go undercover and get them valuable intel. The two will act as a criminal couple available for hire. The promo photos show Bishop and Torres playing the part the best they can. She is wearing a leather jacket and short skirt while she makes up is darker than usual. Torres keeps it laid back with his ripped jeans.
Torres has been steadily taking on key roles in the recent cases that the NCIS handled. Last episode, he was once again on the lead when the squad was tapped to protect a US senator who was visiting Afghanistan. Torres and Jack (Maria Bello) were part of the politician's security detail. Everything was going fine until the senator, John Phillips (James Morrison), received an urgent call informing him that his son was involved in a serious accident. He demanded that he return home to the US immediately, but it was impossible due to the arrival of the Taliban.

The insurgents came out of nowhere, killing some of the senator's entourage. The surviving members were forced to seek protection inside a cave. Torres and Jack were on red alert, knowing that they would all be dead once the Taliban found them. Back in the US, Gibbs and the others were investigating what happened to Phillips' son. The doctors said he hit his head hard when he fell down from his apartment complex and that his chances of surviving were small. Fortunately, the senator and his son both survived and had a tearful reunion.
"NCIS" season 15 will return on Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
