HTC One M8i Release Date 2015: Specs and Features Review of Upcoming Android Phone
Just after the HTC One M9 was announced, a new rumor suggests that there are more upcoming HTC phones this 2015.
According to a report by GSM Arena, the new HTC device will replace the previous flagship, the One M8, in the coming weeks. Dubbed as the HTC One M8i, the device will look exactly like the M8, but will offer slightly different specs.
In the report, the Android-powered device will pack a Snapdragon 615 chipset instead. The chip is powered by eight Cortex-A53 cores, four running at 1.7GHz and the other four clocked at 1GHz.
In addition, there are also rumors that the device's name will be changed into the One M8s in at least three markets in Europe – Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
While it was not confirmed just yet, the One M8i/M8s will come with the same 5-inch display screen with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and 2GB of RAM.
There are still no indications whether the Taiwanese manufacturer will include the 4MP UltraPixel shooter at the back, or the standard 13MP primary camera.
In the report, the One M8i is said to be about 250 euros cheaper than the One M8. That means it could be priced at around 499 euros in the region.
Aside from the lower-end One M8i/M8s, there are also reports that HTC will announce a higher-end device that boasts a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution display.
