Nexus 5 Price Drops for 16GB and 32GB Versions, Find Out Where

Two versions of the Nexus 5 including the 16GB and 32GB models experienced price drops this week through eBay.

The online retailer is now offering the smaller capacity version for $334.99 and the 32GB model for $379.99. They are brand new models and the deal includes free shipping. People from New York and New Jersey will have to pay tax if they buy the either version of the Nexus 5 through eBay.

The company is only selling the 32GB version in black. It will also be available in red and white for both models. eBay is known to discount some of these more popular smartphones, but these types of promotions normally revolve around refurbished models. This deal is a bit more appealing because the price cut is being applied to brand new versions.

A new yellow version of the Nexus 5 smartphone is now available on the Google Play site.

The company recently altered its listing of the device to include the new color.

"Nexus 5 is precision-built from strong materials, and the intelligently simple design showcases more of what matters to you," read the listing. "It's the most powerful Nexus phone yet – and it comes in black, white, red, and yellow."

Google launched the Nexus 5 at the end of last year. Specifications on the device include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor running at up to 2.3GHz, a 4.96-inch LCD 1080p display, 2GB RAM, Adreno 330 GPU, 16 or 32GB internal memory, a 2300 mAh battery and an 8-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization. It is also one of the first devices to run Google's latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

The Nexus 5 also runs the preview version of Android "L."
