NFL Super Bowl 2016 Halftime Show Preview: Coldplay, Queen B, and Bruno Mars to Perform

In less than two weeks, fans will finally get a glimpse of the events that will occur at the Levi Stadium, and the fun continues as it has been revealed that it won't just be Coldplay ringing the stage but two previous Super Bowl performers will join the band.

According to SB Nation, Beyoncé will be making an appearance, as well as Bruno Mars. The Queen B has performed twice, in 2013 and in 2015. Her performances during the Super Bowl festivities were considered some of the best in her career.

Bruno Mars, on the other hand, took the Super Bowl stage at heights in 2014 as he wowed the audience in his shining suit. His performance behind the drum set was also one of the most spectacular sights in the history of the event.

While it will be the first time for Coldplay to take on the beloved stage, it is expected that the band will take excitement and fun to another level. No other details have been leaked yet, but if another performer surprises everyone, it would only make the National Football League's 50th anniversary much more unforgettable.

Before there were pop acts in the NFL stage and viewer ratings weren't weighed, it was impossible to tell how many people really tuned in to the event. Last year's Super Bowl performance by Katy Perry was said to be the most watched halftime show as she garnered 118.5 million views.

The event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7 in Santa Clara, California. As always, it is expected that the stadium will be packed and many others won't be able to make it inside to see the game between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos.

Fans can expect the halftime show to begin around 8-8:30 p.m.. Viewers at home can tune in to CBS to get updated for the entire time. For those who prefer the show in Spanish, ESPN is the best place to be in.
